Commencing business in 2000 as an importer and wholesaler in the retail gift and homewear markets, Urban Traders was quickly introduced into the New Zealand promotional market through numerous approaches by companies wishing to incorporate our ideas and products into their marketing strategies.

We soon realized that if the consumer was prepared to pay for an item in a retail shop, they would be more than pleased to receive it ‘gratis’ as part of a marketing exercise.

Over the years the promotional side of our business has expanded, and as well as some unique, slightly quirky options, we now also offer a full range of promotional clothing and merchandise for all requirements: bags, clothing, headwear, jackets, leisure items, pens.

We travel overseas regularly, looking for items that are slightly different, something that will give your company, or brand, a point of difference. We can supply you with small quantities on an ex stock basis, or investigate indent options direct from the manufacturer for larger runs.
